Hi, I’m new to the forum, thought I would share my ’99 VFR.

Bought it 3 years ago with 20,000km on the clock, now has 39,000km. It came with the nickel plated rims and Staintune, I’ve then added:

Cruise Control Mccruise with a modification to put an engaged LED on the dash. Made in Australia, a real cruise control, they have VFR specific kits. http://www.mccruise.com

Gear Indicator GI-PRO, after much research picked this one due to the speed it picks up the gear change. Cannot fault it. http://www.healtech-electronics.com

Speedohealer VFR speedo was out 10%, got the speedo spot on using a GPS.

MRA Bubble Screen Made in Germany, bubble screen accommodates gear indicator nicely. Bottom of screen is painted black which also shades the gear indicator, making it clear in all light.

Sargent’s Seat Looks great and I’ll swear by its comfort.

LED Taillight Made in Germany, swap straight in, this is the smoked grey version. http://www.riffgmbh.com

Smoked front indicators Made in Germany. Standard are ugly, these blend in a little. http://www.riffgmbh.com

PC III USB Don’t forget to turn on the accelerator pump feature.

BMC Air filter Snorkel removed, flapper plugged. BMC is around twice the filter area of the standard filter due to much deeper V’s. http://www.bmcairfilters.com

Vibranator’s You don’t realise how much buzz there is in the handlebars until you fit these. http://www.vibranator.com

2001 mirrors Kits available from David Silver spares in UK. http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk

Suspension Gilbert springs and rear shock, Metzeler Sportec M5’s, EBC sintered bronze pads.

Levers I’ve stuck with the standard levers, but bought 3BBB out of Taiwan, quality is first class.

Horn I like to be heard. Stebel Nautilus Compact Dual-Tone Motorcycle Air Horn, 12-Volt, 139 Db. Mounted up inside the front fairing.

    And some photos.

Nice bike! I haven't seen chrome wheels in a while. I like the LED rear tail light.
