Hi there, i'ts been a while indeed! Was playing around with buying a second bike (Voyager XII) for longer trips because the RWB gets a little too uncomfortable at times. Not terrible but I feel like I could get more mileage if I just made the seating position more comfy. I've decided that this season I'm going to get some heli bars, but am also curious about lowering the pegs as well. I have heard that the Buell Ulysses controls will bolt right to what I have and put them down around an inch. Is this true? If so, what generation is going to work? Also, just how much will it lower them? I'm not looking to adjust the shifter if I don't have to. Any other options of lowering the controls?

My apologies if this subject's been beaten to death already!

I just installed lowering blocks made by avid motorcyclist/machinist named Larry Lovisone netters2@comcast.net

"PEG BLOCKS are still available to keep your knees in the breeze... the price + USPS flat rate priority shipping are as follows... as soon as I receive Pay Pal payment the shipping starts... my account netters2@comcast.net"

    USA Peg Blocks $85.00 + Priority Shipping $5.50 = $90.50

My blocks and new foot pegs from eBay (front and back for $40).

Just installed Helibars with Vibranators. Bars and blocks made a comfortable change, but Vibranators made an instantaneous improvement, no buzzing in my hands, very smooth.

Can't say enough about Vibranators, made HeliBar install simple and they work!

I have a 07 with the Buell pegs and Helibars. The Buell pegs are almost a bolt on but a little work with a grinder is required. The total cost of the pegs was about $35 as I recall and I purchased them right from a Harley dealership. These pegs gave me a good drop without putting them so low that they scrape with aggressive riding and I have no chickenstrips on my tires so I am using all available lean angle. You WILL have to adjust your shifter and brake pedal but that is easier than putting a peg on so I don't know why that would concern you.

Heli bars are pure Jangleplatz and made 500 mile days possible for me. If I need to ride more than that then it's time to get a BMW 1200GS (it will be mine, Oh yes, it will be mine).

I installed the Knight Designs pegs in about 8 minutes - 1 3/8" lower and beautifully machined. Direct bolt-on and no side-stand interference. Heli's are next on my list.
