    Hi all,

I am not new to a 5th gen having purchased one new in Dec 1997 (silver). Sold it before moving to oz in 2001 for a few years. Returning to NZ on holidays or work allowed me to keep a bike in NZ and go for the odd ride every 3months or so. While in living oz purchased a CB900 hornet to ride on these trips back to NZ. Returning to NZ and getting back on a VFR800 bit this time a 6gen in 04.

Usual story kids come along bike is sold to get a larger family car....blah...however had to keep a vfr in the shed so picked up a VFR400 NC30. Installed a tyga body kit and had lots of fun with that bike (will find some pics and post up sometime)

In 2010 picked up a black 08 VFR800 only to move this on some 10 months later when I had opportunity to purchase a another vechile I have a soft spot for like honda vfr's.

Without 2 wheels for 18months was 18months to long. I spotted a blue 2001 on our local auction site. Of 3 VFR800 I had owned I missed the 5gen the most so I just had to have this one. It was purchased without the wifes knowledge (like I have done with most bikes...well all of them infact)

It has done 71,000km and has had a little bit of rough life Mainly due to the hard luggage that had been installed that rubbed on the tail section. There are a few scratches here and there so over time it will get a tidy up.

Blue was not colour option here in NZ and this bike was imported from Canada.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Here are some pics of the old VFR400 NC30 that I installed the tyga kit on to. Colour was a black with a slight blue pearl and finished with silver wheels and decals on the tank.
