I think it is time to start a thread to raise funds for a new key board for squirrel.

You need to put eyes on the leak so you know what the failure is. I know that is easier said than done but you may have to get a mirror and set up fuel delivery with the tank removed and charge the pump to make it happen.

You could be having the same problem I had on my 750 carbs and that was a chipped end on one of the phenolic connector tubes.
It was enough to cause considerable leakage and warrant replacement from a donor set of carbs to fix.
I think someone on here was making aluminum versions of the crossover tubes due to the fragility and scarcity of replacements.

Did you make sure the float needle seats and works correctly? If it doesnt seat then fuel can come running out and you woyld not be able to find it. Also ensure that the fuel has somewhere to go if the bowls are already full. A bad fuel pressure valve (found inside the pump) can cause this too.

I still agree with toe, he knows these beasts very well. But it is something to check.

Not quite, as fuel overflowing from bad needles dribbles out of bowl vent tubes and up from hole under slide needle. Not ever likely to find bAd pressure regulator can't happen i believe.

Just an issue I had on my cm200t. Previous owner added an electric fuel pump for some unknown reason. I thought I had a crack or something but it ended up being the regulator in the pump had gotten stuck. Removed pump and returned it to a gravity feed and has been happy ever since. (well sort of, paper gasket on gear case let go ad dumped the oil to the floor)
As for the bowl vents, depending on the carb some vent to the inside of the venturi throat. Others use the vacuum from the venturi to vent the bowls. Really cheap carbs (briggs and stratton, power fist, tecumseh) vent by way of a hole on the top of the bowl. These usually get a good coating of grime, thus stop venting. Also the reason most lawn mower engins dont run right after a while, debris in the carb from this vent.

But I may not even be close to right, Thats why I asked questions and gave some reasoning to the question.

Hopefully the OP will post back and tell us we are awesome and its fixed or give us more info.

ALL japanese 'cycle carbs i've seen vent externally by means of tubes, and wouldn't work proppa if vent went through venturi.

in praxctice the VFR vent tubes are too large in diameter to ever clog, but there WAS that guy in Texas who found wasp nests in his !!
