That looks very good, and I really like the color. Should be a great ride and will no doubt get lots of looks when out and about in cowtown.

Had a friend stop by with his little girl, she saw the pretty bike and had to sit on it. I was bugging dad she's going to grow up and be a biker chick while he'll be stuck with his 1/4 mile cager :cower:

Got the carbs sync'ed last week and got the bike to idle at correct rpm, set the mixture screws and the thing runs great to 11,000 rpm with very crisp response. Took it for a quick spin and the thing shifts great, brakes are nice and firm. Not bad for a $400 winter project that I put maybe $1200 into total. Less then that really as you can't count normal replacement parts ie. Tires, Brakes, lights, oils and small misc stuff.

Just have the fairing to clear and the seat to recover and it's done except for the pin stripping. Now if the freaking snow would go away I might be able to ride it before July...........

The bike was painted midnight purple matalic when I got the thing, after stripping the paint it had been repainted 6 times, Factory,Silver,Yellow, dark blue, light blue, and finally purple. Fender and misc body parts were still yellow, side covers were dark blue and broken, rims were painted light blue still. the thing was as ugly as Badbilly on his Harley with chaps on.

Been super busy in the shop for the last 3 months and haven't had time to work on the bike till today. Got some more clear done and a few small issues sorted out so I should be on the road in a week or two.

Been working on an 08 Mustang that I pulled the 4.6L out and dropped in a Coyote 5.0L Aluminator XS thing pushed 525hp and 426ft/lbs torque on the dyno and we are going to twin turbo it next winter and try and hit 1000+ hp. Still have some tuning and a few other things to look after before that and will try and get the car to 600hp N/A first.

The other car is a 97 Mustang that I did a 4.2L Stroker V6 with a Pro-Charger running 12lbs boost. On the dyno it hit 428hp and 412ft.lbs torque.

That V6 is retarded cool. I love seeing people do those kinds of things to cars that everyone else sneers at. Nice 500 as well!

Ran into a carb problem the so ordered a set of rebuilt ones and got them installed. Bike now runs fantastic and is smooth all the way through the rpm range. Found a few small oil leaks from the old gaskets but that will be looked after this winter. Still need to recover the seat and a few small things that I missed but overall I'm happy.

At least I get to ride it for a month or so before the snow shows up :vtr2:
