What's up guys, just purchased a bright freaking yellow 2000 VFR last night. I've ridden for about a year and a half, mostly on my CB650 that I bought as a project. I love that bike, but decided that I wanted something fuel injected that I could just hop on and ride without it turning into a circus every time.

I've always loved the sound of the VFR, and after some craigslist browsing realized that I could get a 5th gen within my budget! Found this bike with a little over 17,000 miles on it, and in great condition over all. It looks like it was in a low speed low side at some point, there is a small scuff on the left passenger peg and the fairings have been replaced, but other than that it is about as good as a 14 year old bike gets.

Only picture I was able to grab last night:

And my ugly CB650 if anyone cares haha.

Hopefully I'll have some more photos later today.

Ahh, well welcome sir. I'm glad you made it home safe and sound. Yes, this is Mike.

And to all on VFRworld - meet DV2000. He's a fine young gentlemen and I know my VFR went to a good home with him.

Hahaha thanks Mike! Yes, everything was great on the ride home, and I promise I won't be taking the angle grinder and welder to the VFR like I did to the CB.

She's all yours, bud. I know you'll do the right thing by her. Stick around - this is a great site: great guys that are a wealth of information. And based on your mechanical abilities, you'll probably even teach them a thing or two.

The only thing I ask is that if you ever go to sell, you have to offer it back to me first!

Did you get into triple digits on your ride home?

By the way - I dig that CB.

I'll definitely stick around, and I'll try to document my adventures with the bike with lots of pictures! (Shameless self promotion, my photography page: www.DanVPhotos.com ).

And you most definitely will be my first call if I ever decide to sell the bike, though I don't see that happening any time soon. I think I fell in love on the ride home (don't tell my girlfriend that).

No triple digits though, I figured I was pushing my luck enough riding a bright yellow VFR with a plate from an '80 CB650. Made it back cop free though, and got to the DMV this morning.

And thanks, the CB should look much better once summer and free time rolls around, the seat will be upholstered and tins painted, among other things.

Occasionally, this red 6th gen owner regrets passing up on the yellow '00 VFR that was available at the same time.

Also that 650 looks pretty classy... the chopped tail gives it some personality and the alloy wheels still look pretty decent.

I think if I owned a yellow bike I'd have to stop by Home Depot at least 2 or 3 times a day to help restore my confidence and manliness LOL!! Just kidding with you.... Nice bike and welcome to V4 madness!!!

You chose wisely - yellow is best. I even chose to impersonate a 2000.
