    I've made it to lordsburg nm. Going to run devils hwy today & some other neat roads. This will be my 1st day of laid back riding after 2000+ miles of bonzi running. The bird sucks gas at higher speeds, getting 39 mpg @ 70/80, 33@80/90 and only 29@90/110.

    Got some stories already. But using phone to do this update stinks. Not my style will try to find a pc for real details drewl i should be in phoenix this evening

    Wd arrived to Kettlemen City wde hours of the morning and crashed for the night . We did a 1000 mile iron butt but there was no way we were going to make the 24 hour B to B trip and decided not finish the 36 hour. We headed over to Lompok and are presently enjoying SLOVFR's hospitality. Zen and VFR_AG were tired out so we are taking a couple days relaxing rides.
