Just picked up a new 07 (Candy Dark Red) Monday and she is beautiful. Been on the board for a while doing my research. Traded a SV1000S on the VFR. Not many miles yet but the ergonomics are great. The V4 is so much smoother then the big VTwin. I'm in flat land, straight road central Wisconsin but not to far from the great roads in southwest Wisconsin. Was torn between the VFR and a Triumph Sprint ST, but the V4 and Honda dealer network won out. Hope to have many enjoyable miles on the VFR. And thanks to all the members that have created a great source of information!

    Hello, and welcome!
I`ve had mine(07 Candy Glory Red ABS) for 2 weeks now and it`s really a refined ride.. My previous bike was a 2003 SV650S with some modifications..
Big difference, the Suki was a more juvenile machine..

Good luck with your new ride..

Welcome to the forum Randy. I came real close to buying an SV1000S before I picked up my VFR, based on comparisons from people who have owned both I believe I made the best decision. Congratulations on the new bike!

Thanks for the welcome. KG - I lived off Sly Park Rd just past the lake outside of Pollock for 5 years. Great country and fabulous roads.

Welcome to the group. The Candy Red for 07 is a pretty color, one of the few shade of red I like.

Great area!! Too bad you're not there anymore, we're trying to plan a ride to Tahoe for this weekend, the back way through Sly Park to Immigrant Trail, you'd be invited if you were!

I too am a new owner of an '07. I went with the RWB, but the Candy Dark Red is my next favorite color. I think it gives the bike a more sophisticated look. Congratulations.
