Looks like I am returning to riding after a decade lone hiatus... I used to ride in Wisconsin so I am looking forward to year round warm weather...

This is my new ride and I'll be picking her up tomorrow morning. I have been looking for the right Anniversary edition to pick up, and her she is! Just browsing around the forums here to get a feel for what can be done to a 6th generation Interceptor.

Welcome aboard, maybe we can meet up in the future down off Rt. 27, I think the fire has subsided, and they got a nice cafe/bar/truck-stop that is kinda kewel and has a bike night on Thursday. I think they have live music on Sunday, anyway Cheers and ttyl  on the colour, one of the tastiest paint jobs to come oot in a long time.

    Thanks for the welcome everyone!

I am located in Sebastian... near Vero Beach. I spend a lot of time in Orlando - I used to live there - but I am not sure it is a place I'd like to ride much. I was very happy to leave due to the traffic!

I was in a pretty bad accident about 15 years ago; a woman ran a red light and flattened me... I rode a little bit but didn't enjoy it as much, but the riding bug has bitten me again, and I just lost over 90 pounds and my reward was going to be a new bike; I decided a VFR was a good compromise between a pure sports bike like I used to ride (my last bike was a liter class RR) and a cruiser which just isn't my style.

I also hope to trailer it to Minnesota where a friend and old riding buddy lives. He has been taking his bike to the track and I hope to take a track course and put in some track time, and again, the VFR seems like a good bike for that task...

After a get a few miles under my belt, I'd love to travel around the state and meet a few fellow riders!

If you ever head out to the Tampa area, let me know. Some nice roads out in south Hillsborough county and great scenery along the coast...

    Ride Red!

W.T.F. Ride the bugga to Minnesota. It can be done.

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to the world of two wheel'n with a motor. I think you chose wisely but picking this ride over the other two options you spoke of.
