    Hello!
I've been registered for a while, but i thought i should say hi.
i ride a 2002 6th gen, that's now in Konica Minolta colours (it was green).

it's been a long and expensive project to get it to the point that it is now wherei am happy with it, and there's still a couple of things to do, but i immensely enjoy this bike!

so far since i bought it:
    two brothers pipe
    k&n filter
    PCV with autotune.
    silicon hoses and vacuum lines
    new plugs
    new pads
    new rear rotor
    new grips
    new bar ends
    new fairings
    valve adjustment
    stiebel horn
    sargent seat
    new battery
    new bolt kit
    plates: 02-VFR
(insurance payed for most of that after a ding)

I've put about 10000 on it since i bought it at 85000, and it's now almost rejuvenated.
    left to do:

    - fix the charging system! (runs at 12.4-12.6 at 5000rpm)
    - rebuild the second master cylinder on the front caliper as it is weeping a bit
    Edit. Fixed these bits.

Never seen one that shade of green. Or any shade of green on a 6th gen. I think your work on the paint is quite and improvement BTW.

Welcome from another Sydney VFR rider. Looks like you've done a bit of work and it's looking good. Why the Konica colours?

Hi bandit, in actually selling the bike now because I bought something a little less sporty. The fairings are because the misses knocked it over and the insurance paid for them.

What are you looking to replace the viffer with? It's a shame to sell it after doing it up.

    Cheers

I ended up with a triumph Bonneville t100. It's much more relaxed to ride and suits me better for my commute.
