I THINK THE vfr ACTUALLY TURNS BACK THE CLOCK WHEN I RIDE it, tomorrow is going to be sunny in the 70's and I got a fun project-put on that stupid Scotts damper-it is actually a mechanic piece of art work in Gold color Yellow. That small hydro toy will keep the bike upright when other non scotts dampened bike's bite the dust. I just got to get a 30mm socket- same size is 262 jet Germen cannon.:chaingun:

SOW. Pictures please. Never seen one on a VFR. The question is WHY ?
What happened to spend $$$$ on one?

76 and just bought an 05 model, been riding since 16 years old. Had an 84 VF1000F 4 or 5 years ago. Also have a 2013 CB1100. I did put higher bars on the VFR though, too much for this old back.

Sorry, just realized that I'd posted on here earlier---but hey! I'm 76!!

Bought my VFR in 2000. I was 47 at the time. Now I'm 61, does that count as old ?
Never been able to get it on the center stand, as I weight only 135lbs wet, but there is still hope...been riding all day today with a fellow riding a Harley, so the twain finally met.

CHICKEN! No reason to get scared. It does not hurt a bit (except kidneys, prostata, liver and some minor organs and bones)

    71. Is that old? I guess so, cuz I think of my '86 GSXR1100, 3rd gen VF750C, and 5th gen VFR as "new" bikes.

I will be 52 in August and have been riding since I was a kid on Long Island and the reason I sold my VFR1200F was the arthritic pain that got intensified by fighting the wind even behind a sport touring windscreen but, I still have my little VFR700F even though the wife would prefer me to sell it, she is cool and knows not to make demands about my motorcycles.

Jeez, I just got the "talk" aboot, "no more motorcycles." I explained how little I spent on bikes in the last 20 years compared to buying new. Still, its like talking to a cinder block. :loco:

My latest bike was bought by my dad just to insulate myself from :bs: you gota get creative and be a step ahead of "wifey" :pound:
