Hello, first post so glad it something interesting. Brother and I are street fightering a 90 vfr. Enjoy!

Picked up 2 1990 vfr750 from WldWhl a while back and have finally made some progress. One bike is mine and the other is my brother's.

    Tl1000s front end

Subframe 0.065 wall .75od mild steel. Wish my welds were a bit cleaner. I didnt have a very good way to notch the tubing so some gaps were pretty horrible. Had to notch it all by hand on a bench grinder and angle grinder.

Another issue that hindsight sees is when we first started, i had no way to cut my tubing square. we cut the stock with a grinder so right off the bat things weren't square. Everything after that we ground to fit the tail as well as the frame. Next time, i will be buying a bandsaw to start off with square cuts.

    Decent look

Started on my brother's since mine was rideable but im out of funds at the moment for more bling.

Tail is a Radical Ducati unit. Paid some stupid money for it, but probably wont see another one like it at Alices.

    More to come...

SP1 RC51 front end. Advice: unless you have a full complete RC51 front end, find a different bike to swap. Parts for this thing esp the front wheel is just about unobtanium on the used market

For controls we both have pro taper countour bars in the carmichael bend. Brother is running Accosato radial brake and master cylinders. Turn signal and bar end turn signals are Motogadget items.

very cool. so you both have the rc51 front ends? the fender for the rc51's are huge but the forks are badass. Please do show what your are planning for all of the wiring.

one bike has a tl1000s front end. It is also a bolt on with just a bearing swap. The rc front end is sexier, however used parts especially wheels are almost unobtanium and anything in good shape is still pretty expensive.

The wiring for the small tail bike is finished. The iginition control module, fuse box, and all relays are tucked into the tail. The only wiring run up front are the turn signal wires, and wires for the coils. He is running a keyless ignition and has the sensor mounted in the frame.

Nice looking bikes and I will be interested to see how things progress. Keep the photos comin. :)

The turn signals in the bar ends is a really neat idea. Some photos or perhaps a video of how bright they are when turned on would be great.
