Hey vfrw, just scored a 2008 vfr800 last week and love it after riding an R6 for four years. I've got some mods lined up ,, the first was the exhaust. I put on a Delkevic DS70 last week aaaand oh my goodness ,, sounds like a beast. It was super easy to install and not to deep in the pockets either.

Anyway, looks like there's a ton of info here. I've been treading around,, it's time to dive in.

I would say at idle, they are a low growl and at speeds they are a mean roar,, that's with a helmet on. The gf heard me arriving from a couple blocks the other day. I took the smarty phone video the night of install but it's not really worth posting. They came with baffles but I have them out and will keep them out until a neighbor suggest otherwise...

The DS70s are really loud...i been really thinking of taking them off and putting back the stock pipes. I lieve in a quiet neighborhood (or it was quiet until i put on the DS70s) and I leave home at 445am and i am certain my neighbors don't appreciate me firing up my bike and idling my bike even for 30 seconds that early AM each day. Plus the roaring sound (which sounds good in my ears) may bother the rest of my neighborhood while i cruise to the main street before getting on the freeway.
