Rode my VFR today-testing out my new boots.

Riding down the hwy is not really riding, riding back roads is. Sitting on a bike mile after mile isn't me-I use a car for that and I like these symbols too, and I am still the best rider around on a vfr-. The bike is Top heavy. I heard about a bad accident-Harley rider locked up rear wheel and then hit a car. Glad I have abs even if it weighs ten pounds. I am winterizing my car. :grey::chaingun:<br/>

Try not to become confused by the pic. They come in pairs and to prevent even more possible confusion., the left (foot not hand) boot has a shift patch that the nice folks at Dehner's tossed in for free.

Sure that's a plug.. I clear these with the higher ups who know that posting mindless farkles just to see a name on a screen not the BB way.

There are probably some US Army guys who have boots like the boot shown. This same outfit makes boots that are worn by military and law enforcement. The particular boot shown is the "Alert " model. These were designed by General Curtis Lemay for B52 Flight crew wear when rapid deployment necessitated getting into your flight gear and boots. These same boots were used as boots worn over full pressure suits in the X-15 program and also several Mercury flights. They are not stiff if one has been wearing not much but flipflops. They are custom made and not for the person who must have instant gratification in all things. Normal time from the initial order, measurement protocol and delivery is aboot three months. They make shoes , polo and dress boots and belts and I think wallets too. I think you may be out of luck getting them to make you a pair of "those" chaps.

Now with all this under your plastic belt, you can go on another forum and try to convince the folks there that you know all aboot boots. One guy here that knows everything flat told me that the "other" forum is not being graced by your presence. He also claims that they, the over there dudes, are of a different culture. This might mean there are no dudes from UK or OZ there.

 

No there are actually quite a few Aussies, Brits and other nationalities over on the other site. There's also a significantly lower tolerance for stupid shit like Son of a Whore.
