1986 VFR production numbers

Can anybody provide actual RC24 production #s for the North America? I did a little research and found this spreadsheet on some russian dudes blog. He claims it came from the Haynes manual.

Ive come across at least 20 of these bikes since they caught my interest 10 years ago. The highest LEGIT North America Frame # Ive seen was in the 1600s. It looks like the info in the Haynes manual is incomplete. Can anybody confirm???

Mine is a RC240X (RC240X GM001901), but I'm in Canada. Don't suppose that's anything special is it? =)

 

The list you have is from the Haynes manual, yes, the first numbers are the frame nubers, the second is engine numbers. The list don´t tell how many made. But I also find diffrent frame nubers on bike for sale.

 

Yea typical Haynes/Clymer manuals. Full of mistakes and bogus info. Now those are great for the book burning crowd!

Well this is great! I just found out I have 1993's 40th model built for the US (49States) in the awesome Pearl Crystal White. It has had a relaxing first year (stayed in the showroom) until 1994. Then, it went to in the Netherlands in 1999.
