so i have been bummed that my bike was running like it lacked power. When running at highway speeds it would spit and sputter. Felt like it had no power. Did not want to rev past 6500rpm. If i tucked in tight to the tank... it would smooth out a bit.
So today i grabbed the duck tape and covered the swiss cheese holes on my air box lid.

Well... looks like i found the issue!
Smooth as butter now. Power comes on strong off the line.
55 to 115 in top gear...

replaced drive chain and sprockets. I think the chain I removed was the original from 99. Half the o-rings were gone, others dry rotted to oblivion. was an inch longer than the new chain, same # of links. :hss:

Well, I just tried to understand why the new headlight bulbs (Xenon H4) are not well fixed and well focused.
Sorry about the technical words in English, as it is not my mother language.

Now that I have the Manual, I believe it might be easier. Let's see tomorrow.
    Otherwise .... wonderful bike

Pulled out my naughty shock absorber so I can get a leaking seal replaced. It was just as tricky to remove the CBR929 shock as it was to fit in the first place, there's a way to wriggle the reservoir through the gap between the swingarm and engine but you have to be holding your mouth just right with the stars aligned. Pulling the wheel off, and elevating the swingarm makes it all possible.

I had drained the WATER out the cooling system a few weeks ago when it got below freezing. today i filled it up with prestone.
Let it run for a little while to check for leaks.
    covered it up real nice.
I finally get it all running nice and the weather says, UP YOURS MAN... HAHAHA!

Lamented over the fact my VFR is still in the shop.

    1. Bought some gloves + liner
    2. Bought some SS Brake lines
    3. Bought brake pads
    4. Bought front rotors and a rear rotor for the CBR600F2 wheel swap (good thing I can least use the fronts for now)
    5. Bought a Sony Action Cam AS100. After the minor accident I kinda got off my ass finally and am getting a camera for riding.

Slid the fork tubes back to the factory stick up above the top triple plate (they were 11mm further up than the fsm specified ). Then went for a 210km ride through the country side to toodyay for breakfast and back. Bike handles perfectly and is a dream to ride.

^ looks like it should be on a flight deck! Nice build quality, wished I had those anodized fork tops and black upper tree.

Gona get my 93 hot and do a carb synchronization again, just for chits and grins. Gona take oot my 91 and just heat her up and give it some ethonol free petrol. Dats it.
