Tail light / rear cowl shakes very bad over bumps - normal?

    I haven't seen anyone mention that when you remove the tail section, and when installing back on there's two plastic long pieces that slide into two holes with rubber grommets for support.
    I think in CanndyReds last picture you can see the holes.

    I did the poor man's eliminator kit a while back, just removing the plastic license plate housing. In the process, I believe I lost the two rubber grommets that held the tail in there nice, my friend commented that my tail light was bouncing over bumps. Haven't had any issues with blowing bulbs though, although I replaced them both last year since they were original. I need to go to Honda and see if I can get some more of those, also need other various fairing trim fasteners.

    After installing the fender eliminator, the angle of the wires coming off the stock license plate light kept breaking, when to this motocross shop here in Simi and he ordered one out of a catalog. .cost me a whole $12 and is LED.
    Had to widen the holes a tad but has lasted over 4 years now
    dont know why the picture turned...sorry
