...and the plastics off. Won't be doing much as its minus 23 degree's this morning. It'll need a good cleaning, but overall , everything looks very good (frame, wheels, motor, etc). I'm thinking of purchasing one of those 'fastener kits' off eBay, as mine are not the best. My main project now is to get the fairing and tailpiece repaired (minor scrapes) with some PLASTIFIX and fibreglass, and then primed and painted... It looks like ColorRite has all the colours and base coat paints required(they say perfect match), BUT its really expensive - a pint is $135US(?), so two colours, one base, the reducer, primer and clear - Geez! Anyone have some experience getting the urethane paint colours from a respectable dealer at a reasonable price? I'm also thinking of doing the Rothmans colours (it'll be a bit cheaper with only the blue and white), and I like that colour scheme (don't think I've ever seen one up here). Its been 25 years since I've painted - time to dust off the old equipment...

Once its warmer in the garage, I'll get all fluids changed, and figure out what else needs to be replaced. The bike only has 6700k on it, but it is 30 years old, so I figure some items (hoses) will need replacing..

Wow nice bike...I'm gonna find one of them. I know what you mean about the paint. I am redoing my 87 750 and the blue candy pearl was really pricey. I desired if I do hat it will be on new, good plastic not the old. Next year maybe. Again...nice bike!!!

All the fairing fasteners are still available as genuine Honda parts, except the 4 little ones around the taillight filler panel.

There seems to be a few of us in T.O with the old VF's. I got a 500F and am in Allen/Eglinton area. Maybe once it warms up we should have a meet up!
