I want to replace my stock mirrors with ones that have a longer reach. No problem if replacements do not have a rubber sleeve as I have never liked this feature. The sleeves never stay secure at the fairing end. Does anyone know of longer aftermarket mirrors that fit the 5th Gens?

In my VFR I had also the extending pieces but they did not loo very good, so I replaced the original mirror with these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adjustabl...864?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4637575868

They have about an inch longer reach and the size of the mirror is quite similar to the OEM. These ones have also adjustment to up/down way, so you can also adjust them higher than original and see over your elbows.

Thanks everyone for the input. I have opted for the Engo's with spacers/extenders. Mirrors have been ordered online from a Canadian supplier (not easy to find) and I am still sourcing the spacers. One potential Canadian supplier was up on Ebay.ca until yesterday and I have sent an inquiry about availability. The other supplier is based in Hungary, but price is similar and shipping is free. However, I suspect delivery might be a tad longer.

DO you have pics of these installed? Id like to do these but swap the blinkers to white for running lights.
