That is good to know. Yanking the rims off tonight along with the DR's and bringing them to Cycle Gear for the swap. I have been getting very good deals from our local one here, they are price matching or very close to on most stuff. The manager is an old track guy and he does my tire swaps himself. Proper balance and no rim dings. I have always tried to support local shops and businesses, just getting harder these days. I do almost all my own wrenching but never invested in a tire changer and balancer, just no room.

Maybe I'll make a nice circle in front of the house with this new knowledge:) Sure the neighbors would love it.

Replaced the ignition switch, gas cap and seat lock. The old ignition switch was a royal pain in the rear to take off. took the bike to an auto shop and had the guy take it off for me using his air tools. I worked on getting the bike ready for him, all he did was use his tolls and i put it back together.
Turns out that there is a much easier and faster way to do it. Oh well.
Came back home and installed the gas cap and seat lock.
    I feel accomplished today. lol

Just received my Sargent seat with black piping and a RAM Mounts kit to mount my GPS. I plan on giving the tank bolt mounting a go, but have the stem mount as an option as well. Should be getting those installed Friday night and then heading off to Steamboat Springs on Saturday.

Does your bike has a center stand? Or is this stand still better?

Both, better in that I can safely get front wheel off the ground and get more clearance for oil changes. Still have center stand, not worried about weight of bike when I am 220+!

Stand comes with pins for your particular model, stabilizing bars that parallel bike and a strap to pull rear down and lift front wheel off. I put strap around bar and through rear passenger peg bracket, then leaned over bike from right and put my full weight on back to lift front and tightened strap.

Plus it is wider and more stable.

I rode! Stopped by my wife's office then hit a little canyon. Yesterday I had some following then passing a Porsche Cayenne. Raising the forks 10mm really livened up the handling.

Got my front PR4 put on today, what a difference. Handling changed dramatically, now it pops back to straight on a lot more forcefully.

Well after a 200 mile today, I decided to order a new Givi windscreen from Twisted Throttle...hopefully it will get here by next weekend.

Twisted Throttle is a quality operation, they got me a nice MRA screen for my <<Mach-1>> ; ) I got a Streetifghter Design screen on the 93 and its a little thicker lexan than the German made one. The first one I got was a little taty regarding the cut out for the air (its a special thing regarding the gen 3 bikes) The second street fighter screen I got was better, with rasta tint and a better (more straight) cut out. Anyway, good luck, and post some pictures

Allyance you won't be disappointed with the PR4s, handling is fantastic wet or dry and I got 13,500 miles out of mine before taking a nail in the front and swapping them out. I will say though, after switching to Angel GTs with my most recent change, the PR4 is now the second-best tire I've ever used; the Angels are nothing short of miracle tires for the VFR.

Yesterday evening I went over to ootv"s garage. He and Long help me change brake pads and hydraulic fluids.
Thanks both of you for the great help and your expertise.
