I saw a 15 tire review and the Q3's placed second, metzler were like third but they rated the tire higher-I don't know why because they were slower aground the track. Any way the $50 rebate and $243.60 price at JC motors was the best deal in sporty tires I could find=$193.40 shipped:chaingun:. Rebate ends in 9 days.

I suppose it all depends on what you intend for the tires? When I first got my RC51, I put a set of Pirelli Supercorsas on it. Problem was, I didn't have tire warmers. So I would spend the first three minutes or so of any ride on fast acceleration and fast braking to warm them up. (Weaving to warm doesn't work nearly as well as the gas then brake drill) once they were warm, they were great. When cold they were scary.

Point is, if your bike is mainly a twisty road machine, sounds like a really good deal. If not, then a set of Angel GTs or pilot roads might be a better idea.

I did read the Q3's warm up real fast and are super good in rain and the rear has a harder center. Plus I don't think I could get a Better set of Tires after rebate-$194.40 shipped. I don't plan on touring too much. I am more of a short trip rider that means, I just like to ride fast to the next coffe shop and avoid Bad Billys troll road.

I had Q2 and Q3's on my '06 600RR and loved them both. Good grip, nice turn in, and you can't get better value compared to what you pay for Stones or especially Michelins

Especially with what you Yanks pay - you guys are spoiled!

Me being not wanting to spend too much, I would not have bought them if I didn't get that $50 rebate, my tires have shipped. From what I have read about the Q'3, I am going to have to ride harder in turns. My M5's have about 2,000 left in them maybe. I don't burn up tires too fast. I like riding on really good tires, you need to be able to really trust your tires. My 2006 has some really good mods like sliders, scotts damper, abs, two bother exhaust carbon, shoria battery. Oh gold 520 chain kit rear two down sprocket. Its really a very nice bike IMGP0356.jpg IMGP0354.jpg IMGP0290.jpg IMGP0338.jpg IMGP0332.jpg IMGP0315.jpg

SOW (Village Idiot) doesn't wear down tires much because his VFR stays horizontal most of the time. He does have really cool mods though. next he should invest in Training wheels

    Ride Red!
