I'm the middle of a New England tour by motorcycle. Left upstate N.Y., headed down to lower CT, along the coast into Rhode Island. Up through mass into Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Last week bought Michelin pilot road 4s, and Givi Xstream tail pack. I've gone over a lot of roads, lots of bad. Tires, bag, and bike have held up great after 400 miles. Of to Portland Maine tomorrow for the weekend, then back home. If anyone sees a red 91 cruising by, honk!

I did the same trip on a r6 once, made it to up state NY in a very long day in 100 degree temp-my tires were actually melting. Got dark looked for cheap hotel-almost fell off-rubber hands. Traded my bike for a car. Its a bit cold for a bike in ME.

I rode from Ca to Nashville last summer. it was a great trip. I can still picture it in my head. Hot going out tho. I had PR3 tires. They were already 3/4 gone before I left. I ended up changing the rear coming home. Aside from cramped legs and the occasional sore ass coming home, I enjoyed my trip immensely. A total of about 3 weeks and about 3000 miles + in all.

Wow! I didn't realize how big the Givi tail installation is... How do you like the PR4s?

That rear case is big, but I bet it is fairly aerodynamic..

It's fairly big, but light. 60 liter, so it holds a ton of stuff

The tires have about 600 miles on them, feel really good. They don't feel as planned at low speeds as my last tires (Bridgestone S20) but still feel confident. No rain yet, so I can't comment to that
