    Hello,

Bought this last weekend for the princely sum of £600:

as I'm sure you can see, it needs quite a bit of work!

First on the list is fixing a faulty starter clutch and getting the carbs running smoothly. The long-term plan is to strip it down and re-build it as a café racer type thing, but it's being used as a commuter til my new bike arrives.

    Tom.

The remaining plastic bits and rear wheel are scarce. Selling them off might recoup some of your pesos.

My guess is unless your carbs are gummed, all they may need is synching.

Thanks, even the last few plastic bits are in pretty poor shape to be honest though.

I was thinking about refurbishing it back to original, but the just getting the fairings back together would cost a fortune, let alone getting them painted to match!

i have seen the lower cowl, the mids are rare as hens teeth. I have also seen some polish out-fit on Ebay selling fibre glass replacements. We need more up-close pictures of this bike! You did good for your first post, but we want MORE, its the freaking American Way Mate.

Love them 3rd gen bikes, Looks like your gona have to re-cover the seat. I had to invest in a seat skin from Seargent Seats, came out decent, will spare you all the parts I replaced/over-hauled on my current gen3 bike. Cheers and congrads on your new :scooter: :loco:
