well have fun buying a new mirror, wouldn't have broken that if it was adj right. I think sliders like great to me-Frankenstein bolt though the head look. you can even use as a foot rest too and it holds on the plastic better than any fastener:bounce:

Be careful. Over taxation of my imagination may lead to catastrophic mind failure. Starting to smell like burnt rubber in my computer room.

I just had my first drop. A no speed coming out of the driveway around my daughters car so I could be on the street for my wife to get on. I just basically put it on the ground at no speed on the right side as the driveway sloped down and I had the bike to the lock and fell into the turn.. Some scratches on the fairing that for the most part polished out, bar weight and mirror scratched but I didn't break the mirror :) and some good scratches on the passenger foot peg and the case. I bent the rear brake lever in pretty badly however and am concerned about pulling it out. Thinking I will just replace it. Works for now.

Hoping that this will be my one and only for a long time. Bound to happen and this is enough for me...

Thank you for enlightening us with your story high.
As a result of a car crossing the double yellows and hitting me I have a bent shifter and peg. Instead of pulling it out and possibly brake it, I just left it the way it is. It works just fine.

Yes. I have been running with a slightly bent brake pedal and leaver for a few years now.

I dislike this thread because I have to report another drop! Yesterday I dropped it in the driveway on not so smooth asphalt. I back the bike out of the garage and turn it 90* to the road. Then cut it right and go towards the road. I cut it a bit tight and my two fingers slid of the clutch. The bike lurched, stalled and the bars went tight right as the bike leaned to the right quickly. Being top heavy over I went slowly to the ground with 580lbs of Honda.

Scratched the right side body and mirror pretty good by the time I got it up. Damn damn damn I just waxed it and made it look real good. Still looks good from the left..............somebody kick me will ya.?

For someone who dislikes this thread this fugger is trying his best to be leader of the pack. He may be a grey orld codger, but he is neck and neck with Cadbury for number two spot. He still has a little ways to go to catch Scubalong though.

I will bow to your superiority.
