I love spandex and leather!!! I just realized something. The umbrella girls are different at each race it seems. I'll have to keep an eye on it at Indy in a few weeks.

God Bless the umbrella girls. We can understand Norcalboys POV and hope someday that he will see umbrella boys. A skirt? Naaa... Most likely 501's.

For a glimpse of Cannery Row history, Read the Steinbeck novel. The flick is OK.

Wow, as quickly as Stephan Bradl got released from the Forward Racing Team, he gets signed up with Aprilia! He'll be racing the RS-GP bike in the Indianoplis GP.

Excellent work by PJ Jacobsen in WSS. First win of any kind for an American in a World Championship series event in quite some time. It is also the fist time an American rider has ever won a WSS race period. Five podiums in the last 8 races for PJ. Firmly in the top three in the series standings now.

Crap. I just came out hiking and climbing in the mountains and realized I forgot to set up recordings. Going back in for another week so I'll miss the reruns too. Great for PJ. The lone American.

PJ did an awesome job fighting of Cluzel on the last turn, read his opponent perfectly after a damned-near perfect race.

I'm leaving for Indy tomorrow to work in Tech Control for the MotoGP races. We get and distribute a lot of track times to the racers. Like section times, lap times/positions, fastest lap etc. I'll see if I can photograph and post as pics here for you guys to see practice and qualifying times of daily racing if you want.

Hopefully I can also get qualifying video of MotoGP a long with 2 & 3. Not sure if I'll be on the grid sat/sun as usual.

Duccmann I'd like to get a pic of me and Rossi this time. I gotta beat your Schwantz photo. LOL

The top riders are just flat out good riders. Videos of them riding flat track, mx, trials, and supermoto show just how good they really are on two wheels. Been a follower of Dani since his dominating 250 days and it's interesting to see how different he is when he's away from the MotoGP paddock. Not the guy most people think he is.

Well I made it. It rained all day yesterday. We are not teching the MotorGP bikes this time. Indy is a totally different setup and track control from all other tracks we race on. MotoGP bikes had their first set of practices today. Rossi, Lorenzo and Markus had the fastest times in the morning. In the afternoon session Rossi was way down around 11th. Something wasn't working for him.

MotoGP, 3 @ 2 have one practice session in the morning and then qualifying in the after noon. MotoGP gets another practice session before their qualifying two races #1 @ #2. We don't get their results. We do have big monitors to watch the race and get their results. I don't have to be there until the afternoon so I'll miss capturing them in pic form. I'll most likely be watching the racing around the track.

I did get some vids of the SuperSport bikes from pit/track wall. I don't have the credentials to do the same with MotoGP so that's out.
    That's it.

Where have you been where you did tech the MotoGP bikes?

The session, combined practice, lap analysis results...etc. are available for free at MotoGP.com
