    [IMG] Hi ! [IMG]

As you can see above I am from switzerland (so please apologise for my english) ! ... small "quiet" country ... paradise for rider like us !

I am 29 years old and work in IT. I am also a new daddy, i have a little daughter called Lucie.

I am a Honda driver since now 5 years. I already drove a few bikes like Honda NT650, CBF600 and a Hornet 900, but this year I had the opportunity for puchase a VFR RC46D (Year 2000) for an amazing price and since now 2 months I enjoy riding it ! WHAT A BIKE !

I like driving on our beautiful roads in the Alps ... driving trough Italy, France, Switzerland and also Austria for longer trip ...

I am also part of the French VFR community and hope to share experiences with you !

    Hi Robin,
Welcome aboard. What part of Switzerland you from? I've had the opportunity to visit a customer in Weinfelden up in the Thurg region of Switzerland on several ocasions. It is a beautiful country.
That's a nice bike. I wish Honda sold VFRs in that shade of green here in the states.

Hi, Welcome to the Brotherhood. I am also pretty new to this forum and to my VFR, however, I have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years. I really like your green VFR ,and wish Honda would have brought some over to the US . Now when you mention some of your highway, road systems and scenery I really am jealous, Anyway I hope you get some good safe riding in this season.

Welcome to the VFR community. I rode motorcycles in Switzerland in 1979 and thought the country was actually designed by a motorcyclist. Beautiful country.
I love the color of your bike. Wish we had that in the 5th generation bikes in the US.

How does the RC46D differ from the standard VFR?

Welcome to the VFRworld. I really like the color of your bike!

Many years ago I had an opportunity to ride through six countries in Europe
and must admit the Swiss area stood out as a rider's paradise.

The condition of the roads, the fantastic scenery and the twisties will always bring back fond memories.

Welcome Robin. Aren't you supposed to be robbing the rich (like Bill Gates, etc) and give to the poor (me)?? You're supposed to be in the Sherwood forest as well! haha!

I`am guessing but the bikes differs for different markets,I think D stands for Germany (Deutchland) and the bike has 98HP-it has something to do with legislation and insurance.......correct me if I am wrong...

RC46D related to the version sold between 2000 (VFR 800 FI Y) - 2001 (VFR 800 FI 1). This bike had few modifications, like new mirrors, news catalysed exhaust and improved electronic injection ...

Wow, I just went out to my bike and realized that the VIN# actually says RC46. That rocks. I feel way cooler now. If people aren't impressed by the INTERCEPTOR, then I'll just drop the RC46 bomb and knock their socks off!
