Has anyone tried a 190/55 Q3 or Roadsmart2 on a 5th gen? My 180/55 RS2 looks like it leaves room everywhere except for possibly the long plastic rear brake line holder. Thanks!

I had one that I had used on my track bike in the rain and put in on my 6th gen with no problem. Got another 2k+ miles out of it.

Thanks. Which model tire was it? As you know, those numbers on the sidewall don't mean much when it comes to actual measurements!

Gotcha. Those are a bit narrower than the street tires.

    Width for Comparison
    Q2 180/55 7.48"
    Q2 190/55 7.85"
    Q3 180/55 7.37"
    Q3 190/55 7.62"
    RS2 180/55 7.16"
    RS2 190/55 7.60"
    211 GP-A 190-60/17 7.54"
    211 GP-A 190-55/17 7.42"
    212 GP 190-55/17 7.48"
    GP-A Pro 190-60/17 7.36"

I think as long as its not to tall you could do it. It was a GPA 211. The US version not European.

FYI, the answer is no. I put a Q3 190/55 on the back tonight and while it clears front to back, it is very close to the swing arm. I wouldn't trust it with the way tires grow at speed. It looks like a 180 Q3 for track time and a 180 RS3 for street duty.
