That upward tip just doesn't look right to me. Good looking pipe otherwise. The more I see these thing, the more I want an 8g.

Yeah they're the baffles. Easy out with one allen key nut. Sounds more throaty.

Imagine that, sounds like a V4, less gear whine ;) but really is cool. So this gets me wondering here why Staintune hasn't come out with a version.......yet? All is good, I like this new 8g version. if it wasn't for the great 5th gen I have, I'd have one.

Ditto. Still love mine but these seem to be growing on me. Both black and white with goldish wheels look pretty righteous!

Without researching, are they any lighter then the 6g, and when it comes to handling, is it noticeable at all? All the other farkles, we can add.

1: No black in the US, only red and white.
2: Officially 22 lbs lighter than 6th gen. Handling is amazing. Weight is lower and more centralized, so it feels lighter than just 22 lbs. Also, far better fueling, with seamless VTEC engagement.

Now Im afraid if I ride one I will be conflicted...
Better I just stay safe from temptation and just deal with not knowing how good it is...my bike is perfect and now that I just purchased Jamie's inserts...I'll be happy with what I have.

Did you mean a Staintune double-pipe like the IXIL, or a Staintune exhaust for the 8th Gen in general? If the latter, they have;- both a normal pipe and a high-rise pipe (Google image search will locate that).

    http://staintune.com.au/collections/new-products/products/honda-vfr-800-2014#content

As for further farkles, you're welcome to snap up one of the last 6 remaining Tail-Tidy / Fender Eliminators. Unless I get a minimum of 15 new orders, I won't be organising a second production run. Check the 8th Gen Tail-Tidy thread for details.

Oh Wow! Staintune you can do better than that, Sheesh! taking the easy way out. Damn, almost maddning enough to go get an old stain tune off the 4-5th gen and re work it to fit high and tight, there's room, I've all ready measured this, just figured it to be a no brainier.
