Saturday - 45. Clear. Very windy. Great ride, only knuckles got cold.

Sunday - 60, clear, perfect. Great ride.

Right now, 62, calm, not a cloud in the sky.

I thought the weekend was going to be cold, snowy and miserable. What a pleasant surprise.

We've been getting the remnants of the tropical storms that hit the East coast of the USA over the past weeks now in the UK, it's rained and been really windy over here for the past 3 weeks

I spent the day putting AFC50 over the wheel rims and every nut/bolt I can reach, gonna be a mess to clean off but hopefully will reduce the winter onslaught, not much chance of a ride until Thursday/Friday:torn:

We are heading for summer here so it's warming up. Didn't get to ride the VFR the whole of last week as it rained almost solidly, but we are in the middle of a crippling drought so no-one complained!

We got ripped off. Was supposed to finally cool down a bit but the low over the weekend was only around 73. Supposed to be a wet winter for us because of El Nino.

Not very good at the moment for riding, high winds mostly. The temps are tolerable, around 50F-60F. Saturday was gorgeous though, temps in the 70s and no wind! Although we're expecting "El Nino" to hit us hard this winter and cause all sorts of havoc. Drought conditions and then lots of rain, expect lots of mud slides and other flood related issues. Going to ride as much as I can before the storms hit!

Here in Napa I would guess it high 60's/low 70's with clear and sunny skies. However, we sure could use some rain. We are PARCHED out here.

Just started snowing at my place, for the beginning of a quick blizzard. Where I live, on the SW side of Denver, they're calling for 6-12 inches by tomorrow morning. I did manage to get in a couple rides over the weekend, which was nice and sunny both days.

Could have ridden yesterday. Was a bit cold but it was dry and just a little windy. I like the wind actually. Makes the ride more adventurous. Kinda laughed at the end of that report. "Have a plan in place for the possibility of power outages Tuesday evening into Wednesday, making sure your cell phones are fully charged." Ya right. Most people just gripe at the service community and complain it takes too long to get their power and cell service back up and running. People don't plan.

My wife has candles stashed all over this house and the moment the power goes out, she lights every fucking one of them. House is heated by them there are so goddam many of them. Me, I don't give a shit. I have clothing to keep warm and dry. The beer will stay cold so I guess the food won't spoil. I sleep in the dark (well try to at least) and do shit in the daylight. No one phones me so I don't care about the phone which until really a short while ago, I never had anyways. Tank is full on the bike if I choose to go for a ride. And I have cash on hand. Everyone forgets that. Even in a major disaster like a thunderous earthquake, you can buy what you need if you have cash. Debit and credit card seem to not work when there is no power.

On the good side, there is few things more awe inspiring that to watch a huge storm. Love those too. The power of nature.

Hey Jay. take me for a spin in the bird when the winds come!

Regardless of my thrills riding in the wind...I prefer to stay away from tornadoes. I skirted and missed one of those on my way from Cali to Manitoba. Not sure where I was but I think I was in either north or south dakota. Maybe Montanna. Frankly, I was "temporarily exploring alternative destinations".
