I ride the exactly same model as you, and I have tried to get a owners manual and a service manual.

Using Adobe Acrobats PDF function should provide a clean copy of the manual. My copy is of the 1990-93 bikes. (??)

 

There can't be a single '90-'96 manual cuz they're very different engines, carbs, etc. '90-'93 is a different manual from '94-'97.

 

I agree in theory with what you say but the hard-copy factory service manual that I have clearly shows 90-96 on the cover and every scanned version showed the same thing
