"How would a 4th gen look without naca ducts?" Probably the same as Marilyn Monroe with dark hair . Just kidding, I too have played around with photoshop. Another option is colour coding them so they match the fairing.

As odd as this may sound since i had two 4th gens from 96 till of late, I too thought long and hard about this, just something that looks like it was almost an after thought on Honda's part, it's not on the NR, that and when you get down and look at it it's not inline with the flow of the bike, kinda weird one of those Ehhh things. As far as how to fix it,Mmm that's a bit tricky, I just added carbon fiber sheeting inside. IMO you want it to look like it came that way, one part is to lengthen the top vents like what one see's on the NR, thing is since that is on the upper faring piece, well ,I left well enough alone but it did/does bug me now and then. But since I've moved on to a 5th gen it's not as bad. NR750#2.JPG

I've seen the inner duct color matched, and it looked pretty damn good. Still obviously a duct, just more subdued.

Yea they sorta do.... Sorta creates air movement below the carbs, freeing any sort of a vacuum, the uppers are outlets for the radiator to function correctly.

I don't understand why nobody has stated the obvious, they are put there to direct warm air to your stomach area to keep you warm in winter
