    Hello folks,

I've started experimenting with my 2002 vfr 800, and i need some real time data, like engine state for example, so naturally i thought that i would dig that right from the diag port.

Please, tell me we have a full diag port we can really get some data from, please tell me honda did not d*ck arround and put a joke port.

    Is this real?

Well, thank you, i appreciate the video, i learned basically three things, how to decipher error codes, how to erase em, and that my honda doesn't have what i need to do some real r&d, which is a bummer because i bought it thinking i had the advanced capabilities of the 2006...

Yeah, that's a pretty ancient system. My 2000 Triumph Sprint RS had a normal plug on it and you could plug it into a computer with a $15 Volkswagen Auto Group cable off of eBay. Another Honda-ism that makes no sense whatsoever.
