New members should always post a photo of their bike! Just to prove you've really got a V4 and aren't just fantasizing...

Here's a link to the service manual for the 02 VFR: http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/...onda-vfr-service-manual-optimized-bookmarked/ The circuit diagram is near the back.

VFR's are known to eat their rectifier/regulators, and the 3-pin connector between the stator and RR is also known to suffer melt-downs (but would look obviously melted).

Given a complete lack of volts at the battery then I'd suggest first checking the two 30A main fuses, and the battery earth strap.

Not charging system. When you turn key on normally you hear pump running. Sometimes you can not hear pump running??? Previously I explained that bike started and was running. Went to get fuel. Shut off bike to fill up. Turned key on and nothing, not even any lights, nothing.???
    Need help!!!

If you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key on, and the lights are on, then you have battery voltage and live fuses.

If the bike was running but then after stopping you have no lights, no fuel pump sound then you could have any number of faults, including a dead fuse or melting fuse holder, corroded earth.

I would do the obvious checks first, that the battery connections are clean and tight and the earth strap is clean and tight to the frame, then check the fuses and fuse holders. After that I would look for a loose connector somewhere on the wiring loom e.g. for the ignition switch.
