Well, I went on a diet, and lost about 5 lbs. Then, took of the passenger grab bars & hardware, the passenger footpegs with brackets and hardware, seat and helmet lock and hardware, and pulled rubber plug from air box. Added a rear seat cowl which helps hold the seat in place. Haven't added up the weight loss, but would guess about 2 lbs. Any other ideas on throwing off something not essential (forget about the center stand, it has to stay!)
    thanks!
    Keith

Reg, thanks, that's a good thread. Maybe I should get on the bicycle and lose about 10 more lbs.

I heard that seven #s equals "one-HP" I could be wrong though.
