Clean looking bike. Seems a bi pricey, even with the ultra low mileage. I know you know bikes based on your CBR, but don't forget about the obvious things. With only 1500 miles, how are the fluids? Tires? And presumably its the original R/R in it. You're potentially going to have to throw some coin at it. Plus, you gotta get rid of that stock exhaust!

In the end, its your money. Don't let anyone tell you how to spend it. If you like it, go for it. And don't question it! Good luck!

The best vfr 800 for the dough is a black 2006 abs model-my bike-its got around 10,000 and quite a few mods like 520 chain, heli-bars, folding levers, lowered custom foot pegs and soon tom tom rider and Pr4 new tires and ebc extreme brake pads. I am thinking of adding a special rear shock, but don't know right now about that.:twitch: P1010273.jpg P1010288.jpg

I agree 100% about tires, fluids etc. While initially super attractive I would really need to just go look it and haul it back home. It's a 4 hour romp I would hate to make to be let down. I posted because I found it ---- interesting. But ya know there's a bunch to be had out there and hopefully soon much closer to me. I hate nothing more than traveling any kind of distance and have to make a decision on the spot...........

I did the same change, just almost a decade ago. 95 RR to an 06 VFR... never regretted it.
