So, while out riding with a buddy of mine today, deep in a curve, i drug a toe. Wouldn't ya know it, ripped the sole right off the right boot. My well worn 5 year old Icon Field Armor boots are no more :( Any suggestions on replacements?

I'd stick with Icons. I'm on my third pair icons and this time is the super duty 4.

Did you have toe plates, or whatever they are officially called? Had them on my boots, and they are replaceable. Pretty handy while actually serving a purpose.

Recommend Daytona boots, German company but they sell several models on Helimot's website. I won't buy anything Icon makes anymore as the company has gone to crap in my opinion and they fall apart/wear out too easily. YMMV.

I second Daytona. I've had them for 4 years now and couldn't be happier. Still have the same pair. Daytona also has excellent customer service just in case something happens.
