So I'm also new on the forum (joined recently) but have read a number of posts for a year or two on topics prior to joining. Got about 70 000 miles on the clock and still purring. Currently running BT54 front and back (got a good deal on them) they are hard wearing and better than I initially expected, but really not great all round. I do around 1000 - 1500 miles per month on average of which most is commuting to work and back and also driving around for work. I do ride for leisure as well and that is exactly why tyre decisions is exceptionally challenging for me... I need to stretch my mileage and have wet handling :rain:, while having a bit of sporty performance. Right now, I need to replace the front, it's really not great in the wet. I'd like some feedback on which tyres you'd recommend? I had a set of Pilot Road 3's on my Suzuki SV1000S and it was an amazing combination. I'm considering the new Michelin Pilot Street on the front (just for price) or Michelin Pilot Road 4 (double the price, but everyone seems to agree that they are an improvement on the PR3) :flock: Gonna run the fairly new BT54 on the rear until it is done, before swapping out. :hangme:
I hate the D222's as well. Thank goodness the rear has worn out. Honda didn't do their image any favors by putting these shit for tires on their new bikes. The rear has almost no profile on it so no wonder it won't turn in worth a flip.
