I've got a formula for mine

    Real Name=James-es+yz=Jaymz

I've been using this spelling for at least 10 years maybe longer.

I started racing harescrambles 5 years ago on a Polaris scrambler so I went with scramblerracer. I still race XC but have moved on from the scrambler. It was just too easy to use the same for every forum I am on

Back in my swim team days my long last name would get abbreviated on the grid sheet for meets as "WLOD". The assistant coach would call off the grid and say "VLAD!" Teammates started calling me Vlad and subsequently Vlad the Impaler. It stuck.

When I was in the Air Force I moved in the Plans shop (a sweet job). It was my job to set up everything when the squadron deployed for training. The older guys were giving me a rash my first time setting things up and saying "We better see some action when we get there" (usually the planner has cold beer on hand). Since we were state side and I've never been one to let things go, I asked most of the girls that were just getting off shift from Hooters if they would like to come and meet the guys as they landed. They agreed and I've never seen a bunch of helicopters get shut down so fast. As the beers were being handed out I asked the same guys "Is that enough action for ya?" and I've had the nick name ever since.

A friend moved to Polebridge Montana about 5 yrs ago. he lives in Columbia Falls, MT now.
In Polebridge, he had a neighbor who lived in a steel cargo box. yes, exactly like the ones you see stacked to heaven next to the Jersey Turnpike.
Actually, he had two. he was going to use one to raise chickens. A hot day in the summer killed all the chicks. Mind you, this is a true story.
Every body called Jack, Jack in the box.
Rumor had it that he made a ton working as a trucker on the Alaskan Pipeline.
Jack is one of these conspiracy theory survivalists you read about in the news doing really stupid things in anticipation of the nucular winter.

I met Jack. Friendly, but a little off. He's free with investment advice.
And, as memory serves, he's a Cubs fan. I would have expected no less.

As a tribute to Jack, I memorialized his nom de guerre.

Mine is inspired by the song "True Believers" by Phil Keaggy, a Christian musician. The song really had a impact on me in a time when I was not only struggling in my faith but in who I was as person. And, 71 is my birthyear.

My first name is Daniel, and back in the 80's i worked for a company where I was known for full tilt attacking problems that needed solving. IT didn't matter what they were. our company sponsored a ping pong team in a league. we won the league championship several years running. I played very aggressively. People would say "Man, Dan is an animal on the table". My riding budyy Todd(CBR1000RR) combined it into Danimal. I use it on the internet for a user name

I represent that comment! Is there a way to change one's name? I wouldn't mind something more creative for myself.

Rev is short for Reverand. I'm not really a nickname kind of person and this is the only one that's stuck, which I don't mind as it's a pretty cool one.

I think the Administrator can change usernames; on the local rider's forum, he changes names for others all the time.

There is a hiking trail on the north shore of Vancouver called the Grouse Grind that I like to do. It is a steep nasty climb that rises 2800 ft in just under two miles. Hence grinder.

I was wondering about that - I used to play with model airplanes when I was a kid - The Stuka was one of them.

Just a name I grabbed outta the blue.. well sorta. It kinda says about the layed back side of me -the drunken slacker lazy ass foole, goes with the Valky. I have the other side of life that is intense, stressful, and manical, adrenalin junkie. Sometimes mello dude is trully that, sometimes it's a bit of tonque and cheek sarcasm.

Dr Jeckle and Mr Hyde would have been too obvious.......

Generally I've adopted it as my internet alias.....

The first airframe I ever worked on in the Air Force was the F-111F, whose unofficial name was the Aardvark.

The best airplane I ever worked on in the Air Force was 892, an F-111F at RAF Lakenheath in the late 80s-early 90's.

It was one of only two aircraft I've ever actually been proud of working on.

The rest of them were garbage... well, actually 443 (the jet that was afraid of heights) was okay, once the main Crew Chief left and I took over.

yeah you can change it. Mine was originally preregrin which is a deliberate misspelling of a type of falcon but I got it from LoTR way back before the movies. I changed it to Reg so people would know my name so that when we meet I don't have to introduce myself with a handle and then give my real name. 71 is the year I was born..
