Gday Y'all! I want to share a story with all my fellow viffers out there! Well while I was at work rummaging thru old school equipment, a machine broke and out popped this perfectly round convex lense! It was one of them machines that the teacher put in the front of the class 30/40 yrs ago that showed nice black and white pictures on the pulldown screen! lol. So be it as I am always thinking of riding my viffer! i tried putting this glass on my gages and WOW! It fit PERFECTLY and magnified all the numbers amazingly! I searched all over for another machine and found one! I siliconed them in and I can see clearly now! So if any of you know where any of them overhead projectors are you will be in luck like I have been! Have a great night y'all!

Man, not me. That's my go-to response when I get pulled over for a bit fast: "Sorry officer, at my advanced age I just can't make out those little numbers like I used to". :smile-new:

Actually it is pretty cool, I would never have thought of that.

Spectacular idea. So cool that you figured this out. Ugh, having visions of geometry proofs now. We had to write out our own proofs on transparencies and demo them in front of the class. Terrifying.

You do realise if you stuck the lenses on your helmet, the whole world would now look clear?

If you can't see those gauges stock.... probably shouldn't be riding around on a motorcycle.

The scale of our speedometers is ridiculously small. I can in fact read them but find it difficult to determine 25 from 20 from 35 at a quick glance.

Yes I love that voltmeter! It's not too bright and it's only 1 1/4 dia round and 1/2 inch deep! Fit perfect there and can see it nicely at any time! 10 bucks on amazon! Its waterproof also! :courage:

Yes the numbers are small and it REALLY did help me to see them better! Over here in metro NYC area they put up cameras in school zones that take your pic if you go over speed limits and you get a $50 ticket in the mail if 10 mph over limit! Even if there is no school in session! Its such a scam! Cant even catch a nice breeze at 25 mph! Gezzz:eek:nthego:
