AM, you were hiding a pleasing shape under much riding gear. ATGATT is the way to go but some pictures work best without it. Thanks for sharing. I am not sure that Jeff would make such a pretty picture with his bike.

Changed the rear cct yesterday, found it easy so I thought I'd do the front one too....
I followed the same process as before (only removed the air box though) and removed the front cct. Slight issue however - no bucket on the cct!!!!!!!
Somehow it's come off & it's in the engine !
I've now ordered a snake cam that should arrive tomorrow so I can go looking for it - lol, may as well do an oil change whilst waiting......

Don't worry ... I'll make sure that gold glitter thong is front and center!

    This:

    [IMG][IMG] DSC_0650.jpg DSC_0652.jpg

In the futile hope of finding some quiet air to hide in. No such luck - the airflow is raised from hitting me mid-chest to hitting me mid neck... and probably more turbulently as well.

    Oh well, I tried!

    EDIT:

Dammit! Those pictures were not horizontal and it won't let me rotate!

It looks great!! At least you'll get different airflow for a while. ;)

I'll be ordering an MRA Vario windscreen. After riding a VFR with one, it's sooooo nice.

Currently the wind cuts my neck and sends bugs and rocks in my helmet too. Can't take it much anymore.

    Haha! I guess so...

I may have to attach something similar, see if it does the trick. I'm quite tall though so struggle to get low enough to be in the nice clean, quiet area below even a high screen. I keep getting told "buy a tourer" or "buy a GS" by riders that I discuss it with, but I'm not quite ready for an old-man's bike yet, I like my VFR!

Did the Vario screen that you tried lift the airflow a long way? Above your helmet?

LOL...I don't see myself ever getting rid of my VFR...I'll have more in the future I'm sure! :)

Maybe a second adv moto as well.

Yes, the Vario screen put the wind right at the top of my visor. When crouching on a tank bag, the wind was cut completely.

I'm 5'3", so that may help. Maybe the wind will hit your visor and not your neck.

It was Jeff Barret's moto. He's pretty tall too and he seems pleased with the Vario. You could ask him some more about it.

It was a perfect windscreen for me. Plus, with my current windscreen I get so much wind noise that people cannot hear me well when we are on intercom. That also was very annoying.

    :p

With the air foil in the up position, the high speed air hits me right in the eyes. Perfect for me anyways.

It was nice to be able to hear that sweet voice of yours over the comms when you were riding my bike. Probably much better than listening to me sing to you. LOL

I'm on my third one :peaceful:

Maybe - I could definitely live with visor-level. I'm 6'6" though, so perhaps I'm onto a loosing battle anyway... Or perhaps I need a VFR1200

I shall ask Jeff how he found it. Thanks Anne Marie.

Mid to high 70's most of the coast and low 80's inland. Not too bad but hit 90's on my way home. Summer gear works pretty good though so I wasn't too uncomfortable.

    Hey Bud,

Haven't fitted the hugger yet, was waiting til the bike came back from the shop to put it on, plus I went out last night so wasn't in the mood to do much yesterday:biggrin-new:!
Got it off the pyramid website! I'll put up pics and review it when its on!

Engine feels a lot more responsive after the service, but I figure it would do anyway, VTEC seems a lot smoother transition now, was very punchy before. Thought on the whole they were ok to deal with, felt a bit of chatter in the front end but was talking to them about that and they said they checked it and found nothing....
