If this is so, why have I just been asked on Facebook for my recipe book on cat tacos?

Interesting, if I hang off even a little, my knee touches down before the peg feelers. The only time I've touched a peg is when I sit bolt upright.

It's really not. Getting your butt off the seat and hanging into a corner lessens the lean angle required of the bike. Nobody should be shooting for dragging pegs while sitting bolt upright.

Wait till you take it to the track and scrape your header. I kept touching my boot sliders, but since I running the stock suspension, on turn 13 of Chuckwalla, I thought I was scraping my footpegs, but it ended up being my header. I thought I was hanging off enough, head down by the mirror, etc, but I'm sure I could have refined it more.

If you can't afford to upgrade your suspension, then shim your shock. Easy peasy, and you get a better handling but as well. I went to a car alignment shop and asked for a used small alignment shim. Got two for free.

Was aimed at the OP's comments. I'm familiar with the concept.

I know knee dragging is frowned upon on public roads, but peg dragging is just as bad or worse. However, I'm not judging : ride your ride.

For the tacos we use all cuts. We are more fussy aboot cat sushi using only a mix of sirloin and flank.

Look for our forthcoming all inclusive cookbook "365 Ways to Wok Your Cat" with a bonus secret recipe for leap year.

If this happens on a regular basis, I suggest a sag adjustment or one of those crash diets.

Don't say that! I weigh 170, my VFR weighs 470. Those first few mph can be really scary!

I recently scraped a peg ... my cornering has radically improved since my SD trip ... wasn't intentional at all.
