Well, I ain't gonna make Hinshaw's. Even if I could leave lake Stevens @ 4:00, I probably wouldn't make it till 6:00. Hope someone can make it and post some pics.

Awe man, sorry to hear, guess well damn, those on the north side have it as rough as those on the south side when it comes to Seattle, it's is a total war zone when it comes to traffic. I remember back in the day Everett was just a 75 minute drive away. Reason why I'm not fond of going past anything like Boeing field, anything north of Seneca is asking for trouble now a days.

You know it doesn't have to be a three day weekend. Beer Friday night, Ride on Saturday. Go to church and mow the lawn on Sunday.

True that, Now after seeing Bernie and Steve at Hinshaws, I'm thinking a Saturday meet and greet sooner than later and see if there's a chance to locate as many VFR generations as possible with this hook up. Be cool if we could get our bikes in the Seattle center next to the fountain, no? or what about Qwest field LOL that's a long shot huh. Wonder if there's any place down around Boeing field?

Dude!!! I went to the Seattle Center a few weeks ago to see if I could get a pic next to the fountain. It was so crowded with thousands of school buses I thought I'd try again later.

I don't know if it's doable. Was going to ask at the gate but way to much traffic.

If I'm going there to be on track, it will be on the bike I'm building specifically for it. Budget doesn't allow both, barely one. But, I would come down to check out the facility and ride the roads in the area.

I would be down for some kart racing. I have not raced the track at the ridge but PGP motorsports at Pacific Raceways is great fun.

Ok, time to check on how the locals are feeling about a quick little get together at the Seattle center. I talked this over with those that handle it and said we are more than welcome, so that got me to move towards the permit process, trick is in the scheduling.
My idea was to try and get VFRs from each gen and maybe a couple more here, in front of the international fountain for a photo ops. Again, with trick weather and what works from their end and how it works for us. Let me know what you can do as that is part of the permit process. Weekends may be a bit dicey, 10am Sunday was one slot that might work for us? and before church gets out for the masses. Or a week day evening? whats your thoughts please. At least it's doable, was thinking this could be fun.

that would be cool! count me in. schedule wise I'm very flexible as I'm still "between opportunities". What is required for the permit and what does it cost?

The permit it self is all that is needed for this get together to happen. I masked it as a photo gig for a calendar. a dozen or so VFRs. Cost was doable for me to proceed. in that its free for those that want in on the action.

Awe cool, I'll put you down for bringing a 8th gen right? ;)

    Now for finding a 84 vf750, 84 vf1000 85-86vf1000 86 750, 87 700, 90, 91, 92, 93, who's got a RC30- 45? 94-97. Was thinking besides my 98 5th gen, a yellow one would be nice, then a 6th gen, RWB? A 1200 and of course the newest. Of coarse there's no discounting anyone's vfr here, just throwing this out.

I just saw this thread. I would be down to go as well. I have a red 5th gen so nothing special in that regard though.
