Made a offer on this RWB VFR. After trading my 07 RWB I've had sellers remorse. I've test rode STs, FJRs, Concours, even a 2010 VFR 1200. Not for me. I want my VFR BACK, its not going to happen. I'm not keen on purching used but this is as close to new as I'm going to find. He's asking 6500. But not from me. That's to close to what I can pick up a 2014 for. 7000-9000 depending on how far I want to travel. Knowing tires, fluids and possibly brakelines will need replaced is another reason I won't give him asking price. Also seat upgrades along with risers and a touring screen. Also the main fuse wiring upgrade is a must. Not having the melted 30 amp fuse issue away from home again. I made a very fair offer close to avg retail value. 5300. If he refuses I'll just move on. I prefer the looks of the sixth gen over the 2014. Love the undertail exhaust and the paint. I've beat myself up over this since I traded it in. I actually talked the wife into letting me buy it back at a slight loss, but it was laid down at the dealer before that deal could come to light. Guess I might be able to paint a 2014 RWB. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Inter...3:g:96IAAOSwmtJXbFbJ&item=331914221171:loyal:

The one you made an offer on has such ridiculously low mileage. Crazy!

12500 miles on the one in Nebraska. Seems pretty firm on his price. If he becomes more flexible I'm willing to make a day trip up to check it out. I've got ( in my wifes opinion) too many bikes. She has one and thinks that's all ya need. I can't stop laughing at that comment. 10k-12k miles are about the max I want on my next VFR purchase. As I said I hate buying used.

That's just something people with too few motorcycles say.

    Awesome news, Michael!!

Hope you're able to close the deal on one of those. Maybe we can ride the next time I'm out that way.

I remember seeing your old one for sale and finding out they'd dropped it...that had to be a sad feeling. I was lucky. I sold my VFR and a year or so later wanted it back - BAD. The 2nd owner put less than 1K on it and sold it back to me since he never road it...I even made some money on that deal. Looks like there are some bargains out there. Good luck and we'll have to ride when you find one!

It's not bragging. I am trying to get rid of some. Really I am.

I got a guy coming for the Norton next week. I have had it for over 20 years and it's time for it to go to a new home. (It used to be my main ride.)

You can't see the Suzuki TS125 project or the Z50 stuffed into the corner.

It's going to be really nice. I found it is a shed, sad but complete. It had a holed piston. I pulled it apart, installed a new piston and rings, new bottom end seals, new tires, chain, sprockets etc. I also cleaned and primed the oil injection pump and set the points and timing. (I don't want a repeat of the piston problem.) It's going to be nice. It has the body work and it is all straight but showing a certain patina that looks really cool. It has the OEM lights and everything so it will be streetable.
