Those TS are pretty rare to find ... at least in these parts.

I sold a TS 185 about 10 yrs ago. I had bought it at a yard sale back in the mid seventys. With news paper boy money. I paid 50.00. It ran great. Had it 30 yrs or so. I also restored a SL70 about 12 yrs ago. Gave it to my nephew. I love old 70s bikes. Ecspecialy enduros . I still have a honda xl 175 out at my moms place.

I bought it because it was cool and like you, I always liked the 70s era enduro bikes. (I would have killed for one back then but my mom and dad were dead nuts against motorcycles.) It seems that these bikes are going up in value if you can find them. The 250s bring much more.

Yea, my best bud has 46.
    Forty-Six.

    Not a misprint.

Mostly Honda, some V4's, including a '98 VFR that he crashed at a track day, and which will be fixed, if he can stop buying bikes for a minute.... :topsy_turvy:

Why not buy your old bike back for cheap, and fix it?

I kind of wish I had done this. The insurance company was very fast in swooping in and grabbing it tho. There were very fair to me, and I like 99, buy I still have a soft spot for the 6th Gen.

It's bone stock and the only thing wrong with it is it is really dirty and has some fairing scars. (I gotta sell something and my Norton deal might have fallen through.)

It sold pretty quick. They got as much out of it wrecked as I got on trade. I was going to offer them 500 less than what they sold it for.

I never trade in motorcycles. Sell in the spring on Craigslist. Buy off of Craigslist or EBay, around the end of October. Normally, I buy used. I don't take anything back to the dealership for work, unless it's warranty.
