Yes, I can agree, those T handles are nice aren't they, and so are the the ones that have a screw drive like handle, great for pushing those little faring clips.

LOL those clips are cheaper by the dozen.

I got her out and rode up the local canyon to "October Fest" at Snowbird ski resort. Got home and finally decided to take off the grab bars and put the color seat cowl on. Got the tail tidy out and decided to put that on without reading the instuctions and stripped the plastic backing on the hex screws. Got pissed off, went to the store to get some beer and now I am bitching about it on VFRWORLD. ;-)

Tuesday I replaced the crummy old fuel lines from the petcock to the pump, as well as the air filter, and I took apart the petcock and did the vent removal mod cause it was leaking. Bike runs just like it always had, but no more chance of fuel leaks from the vent. New Oury grips are installed, and pressure on the rear shock upped a bit. Forks wouldnt fit my bike pump so bringing home an air hose and tool and using the compressor today. Hopefully that will remove some of the vague feeling of the front wheel. The bike was shimmying under me last night and I wanna find out what that was about. Thinking the rear tire is losing air or something cause it was down to 20psi the last time I filled it up.
Parts that are still to go on the bike:
    Coolant Flush
    Oil and Filter
    Fork Seals
    Rear Brake Pads
    Clutch and Brake levers
    Solo Cowl
    Fuel filter
    Indicator mount rubber thingy

My son and I left the house this morning about 10am, just after my wife and daughter left to go shopping for clothes. My son, now understanding the joys of clothes shopping, decided it was not for him. We hopped on the bike and headed for a tour around the sunny Okanagan. My son has now accrued another 130 km's of pillion time and a great time was had by both of us. In honour of AnneMarie, we stopped at the local Tim Hortons on the way home for lunch and a Chai Tea.

After the ride, time to wash the bike, lube the chain and change out the windscreen. After riding out to meet AM while she was visiting Randy, I managed to acquire a crack in the screen thanks to a rogue rock kicked up by a semi. The one thing I always wanted to do to the bike after purchasing it was swapping the clear screen for a smoked one. Much nicer look IMHO.

Hey Ducc. Nope the grab handles are part of the Givi top case rack. My son has taken a new found liking to holding on to them while riding. I asked him about it after the ride today and he said he likes using the grab handles to hold on when we're riding around in town, but prefers to hold on to me when we're riding through the twisties. I'm not sure who has more fun when we're out riding together, but I think it's a draw. He loves the "Daddy" time, as he likes to say, and I really enjoy the one on one time. He asked today while we were having lunch when he'd get his own VFR. He said he'll continue riding "second chair" until he's old enough to get his license but then he wants to buy ME a new one so he can ride the Y2K.

Did an oil change last night before a ride this morning.
Wlaked into the garage to find a small oil patch under the bike.
After close inspection, found the sump has cracked.
A vertical crack on the sump plug thread, didn't do it very tight at all, I'm now really anoyed.
Removed my pipes and will have to wait for a new sump.
Thinking of ordering new Delkevic headers while I'm at it.
