VR, while still among the best, is obviously past his prime. There was once a time when we were pretty much watching to see who else would be on the podium with him as well. Only time will tell.

Definitely! Considering he had never won a race until this year, he dominated.

 

The two Suzuki riders for next year will be Andrea Iannone and Alex Rinns

Rossi has a two year deal, starting next year......

 

Oh didn't know that about VR
Hope Iannone settles down and keeps it on two wheels, alway rootin for him.
Moto2 was a hell of a race for Lowes--- he was gone.
Good for Alex for his first podium in this class

I have a lunch on Honda finishing higher than Ducati in 2017. I know, why wager on something so far in the future, but a friend of mine is so sure JL will be unstoppable on the Duc. I went with consistency. Honda being the only major team that keeps their riders and rides together. Hopefully, DP pulls through for me.

Home with a sick kiddo today, so I watched the race again and the Moto2 race. Moto2 championship is getting interesting.

 

Had to leave for work before I got a chance to post about him. He was unstoppable this year, even did what Rossi couldn't do last year, start from the back of the grid and win the race! I know it's a different class, but starting in 35th and being on the top step of the podium is definely a feat to watch. I believe MM and DP both did similar feats.

 

Oh yeah, not sure what happened to Zarco but he hasn't finished well lately and has allowed Rinns to close the gap significantly! Kudos to Rinns too, did an awesome job riding recovering from injury and ill.

It will be interesting to see what happens at the first offical test following the Valencia round. It's gonna be good to see some of the grid get mixed up with new bikes for some guys and new guys on new bikes. Next year will be exciting to watch.

MotoAmerica schedule is out.

 

July 7-9 that must be WSBK as well---- maybe it will be in the cards next year---- we'll have ta see if I have any fun tickets left after my CO purchase.
