    Hi all.

What kind of mileage are you getting on a full tank. I'll be lucky if I get 250 kays on a full tank.

About the same here on my '02 with hwy and city riding. I'm due for new plugs and an air filter though, hoping that it will make a difference.

That's quite heavy though hey. My KLR used to give me 320km on 16 litres.

I have to add to add though. Wasn't half as much fun to ride. ;-)

OH FUN, Same topic as on vfr800 FB. on average i fill up at the 200 mark. having me finding I'll use 4.+ gal. to fill up. I'm still not a fan of the lcd bar gauge. in fact the whole LCD info center is close to being worthless. wrong way to show whats up, half the time i use the odometer to tell me just whats going on, ha, even that is close to worthless. I tell ya,
some of the gadgets Honda uses.

I get about 260-280 km to when the last bar starts flashing on my 5th gen, but that is having lots of fun on good roads, no commuting or droning along a highway.

Low speed (100-110 km/h / 65 mph) riding outside the city is round the 350 km/ 217miles (and better with back wind :courage: )

double that speed or average of 150 drops well bellow 330 km/ 205 miles and much lower.

(wind resistance is not linear to speed: double the speed and u need to triple or more the power)

Its more efficient to drive slowly.:confusion:. (but U gain safety + fuel money)

Mine seems pretty spot on with all the other gen 6's. The lcd light starts flashing at 170 miles. I usually fill up at that point and can only squeeze in 4 gals. I want to push it further to see just how far I can go but hate to learn the hard way and run out ... Forgot to add that I have a super heavy throttle hand and I know that does not help my bottom line but it sure helps my upside down frown a bunch :grumpy:

Last road trip I took, 35.8 mpg with an incredibly strong headwind all the way. Then on way back, winds changed but still had moderate headwind but did 45.2 mpg. Have not checked in city for awhile but it ain't too good with my heavy hand. But it's generally in line with the others here, never as good as you want.

Just hit 250km and the reserve is now flashing. Mixed riding town and highway.

Obviously with some hard riding here and there. But still love this puppy. Someone offered me 75000 rand yesterday for the bike. That's about 5300 dollars. Enthusiasts in South Africa loves these bikes.

My VFR is my daily commuter to work, so I fuel up every day (140 miles.) I have been averaging around 45 MPG, although I just went +1 on the front sprocket, so it looks like I'll be hitting around 47 MPG on average. This is all highway, around 70 MPH with top and side boxes. On a really good day I can get in the low 50s.
