I couldn't just leave it half done.....ordered the triple clamp pinch bolts and the headstock pinch bolt this afternoon.....I'm just starting the process of building this new machine (Non VFR), so Christmas came early for me........

Have you weighed all the bolts you've taken off and the ones you're putting on? I'm curious as to how much weight gets lost. I'm sure it all adds up if you're doing the whole bike.

I always keep track. As an example, with my CRF Supermoto build, the difference was just over 8 lbs. Won't know exactly how it all shakes out on this one, until it's done.

Thank you, Stosh. Means something when it's coming from the King of build detail.

I got it just before black Friday, but I'm claiming it anyway. I bought a communicator setup for me and my daughter! I'm finally gonna start riding with her, and since I want to hear my navigation in the helmet it seemed like the right time to buy this!

That model gets fantastic reviews, and my experience installing/testing backs it up. The earpieces fit perfectly and have surprisingly good sound. The mics also seem to have good sound rejection, and pairing with our phones was a breeze. Priced at $70 delivered for the pair of BT communicators I just couldn't resist!

    Japan is open for Business!

I ordered a Shoei Hornet "Adventure" helmet.(Hornet X2 here) I ordered from "WeBike" in Japan! The helmet is on for $318.00 USD. Shipping is another $35.00. Then people in North America get 4000 yen off, or about $40.00USD! I got it shipped in Canada for $400.00 CDN.! Good score I think. Too bad our $ is not at par with USD anymore. Is quite expensive to get from the States right now. I've found that England and Japan are both less expensive right now. I see that SportbikeGear in England will match any price on the web. I have ordered from them as well, and they are a good place to buy from. Someone on this Forum had mentioned the good deals in the U.K. since "Brexit". Is even still warm enough to sneak a ride in now and again, in the frozen North! Still miss the lane splitting in California, though!

My old standby finally developed a leak in the hose after 10 years and I had to have this one because glows in the dark......:pound:....not that I would ever be checking tire pressures in the dark.....

    2 of these https://www.amazon.com/Motul-300V-Competition-Synthetic-Oil/dp/B000WMO0ZC

I have the first change to do this week and will probably get to the second at 250 miles this weekend. The 600 mile change has to be done by the dealer to maintain the warranty and to turn off the service light....haven't been able to locate a tool to turn it off myself......

Also picked this up for doing the chain gang thing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FFZU25S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just ordered a cold weather riding suit yesterday and it will be here tomorrow. Way to go Super Stores. Actually I want it for snow blowing on my tractor this winter. Find out it's a good cold weather riding suit. So who knows I may be cold weather riding again and staying toasty. It's been years. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find a descent snow suit for a reasonable price.

Braving the riots in electronics at Wal@Mart armed with my mace, pepper spray and 18 volt cattle prod, I skipped Black Friday, went in Saturday and bought a wireless mouse for 8 pesos and change. I had to step over a few bodies that had shopped till they dropped. A few were still breathing.

Just bought a new face shield. Damn they cost way to much. What are you going to do, kept putting it off till I had to. All most worth getting a new helmet to get face shield.

Yep. Check out the price of the shields with the 'Transitions' technology $$$. In the example of buying a new helmet just for the shield, ever buy a new printer for less than one of the ink cartridges cost! Yeah, the cartridges that come with the printer are usually not high capacity but still, when you can get a cheap inkjet printer for less than $60 but the replacement cartridges cost more than that, there's something odd about that.
