Hope everyone has had a wonderful Holiday!

My oldest son and I celebrated Christmas morning with a nice ride through town and then out to the country...it's so peaceful with hardly any traffic and almost 70 degrees to boot!!! Now that's winter time riding in the upstate...!

We hit our Parris Mountain loop and then off to the real mountains in the north part of the county. We knew others would be out and sure enough we waved at everything from old knuckleheads to fresh from beneath the tree 300's! Love'd seeing all the new bikes today!

Of course I forgot to ask santa for a go-pro, so you'll just have to use your imagination.

    Merry Christmas!!

Warm here (compared with last week), 35F or so. Pretty sloppy with melt, no great day to try out two wheels.

    Stayed home.

Might be jealous a bit, but glad someone is riding!

I got a nice ride in today. About 2 hours long. Left home and it was 51 and when temps got down to 32 and the snow was on the side of the road and not melting I turned around and went home.

It's been unusually warm and dry this fall. We are going through a severe drought and have had forest fires all around the area. Normal highs around here this time of year are 40's-50's. Lately, it seems we're breaking high records on a regular basis.

I was able to get out and ride Christmas eve. As you said, little traffic and decent temps, 50°.
