There are a bunch, but I just returned The Doctor, the Tornado, and the Kentucky Kid. I'd seen Faster, and some other modern cycle adventure movies. This was terrific.

Great insight into Laguna Seca, MotoGP, and some of the characters.

This is the best motorcyle documentary I've seen.

What else should I pop in my queue?

    Silver Dream Racer

It was the 1980's and silver was a fast color. If you ever see it on TV, there is more than one ending.

"A young hot-headed motorbike enthusiast inherits the prototype for an incredibly fast machine which was designed by his brother. He successfully gets the finance for it, and uses the bike to challenge for the world championship at Silverstone."

Mad Max and the 1974 cool but flawed Bikie movie " STONE " that introduced me to the excitment of seeing large numbers of biker nuts riding hard on Kwaka Z900's.

Of recent times it would be hard to go past 'The World's Fastest Indian' a brilliant feel good movie involving motorcycles.

Mustn't forget these...... "Electaglide in Blue", "Easy rider", and more recently, "From Dust to Glory" (about the Baja 1000, which includes dune buggies and trucks). Oh, and "The Wild One" with Marlon Brando.

Now that I am started, the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" and "Vanishing Point". Not bike movies, but great nonetheless.

Always loved "Vanishing Point" & " Two Lane Blacktop " as great Car chase movies of their time.

The Road Racers and V-Four Victory are awesome.

You can get them both on the same DVD. It chronicles the late 70's TT road racers in Ireland and V-Four Victory is a camera strapped to Joey Dunlop's V4 as he races The Isle of Mann.

    Just awesome footage!

And Mad Max of course! On Any Sunday too if you have never seen it

Easy Rider is a classic and even though it is not a "motorcycle" the bike in Pee Wee's Big Adventure is nice.

"Beyond the Law" (Charlie Sheen). True story about an FBI agent that infiltrated a large motorcycle gangs in the 60's and brought them down. Plot is alright, acting is alright, Linda Fiorentino is AWSOME.

    Worlds Fastest Indian

Hands down the best movie ever produced about motorcycles.. If you have the DVD do yourself a favor and be sure to watch all the extra features more specificly the original documenntary the director did juts after or in college about the real Burt Monroe...

I really wasn't expecting much from the movie since usually anything involving motorcycles on film just makes me grit my teeth in frustration at the sheer ignorance of the directors/producers

Not only did he make his own pistons, Piston Rods, Modified and redesigned the engine from side valves to overhead valves, and hand made his own CAMs but he said the best quote ever:
"You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime."

Although, I also liked: "If you don't follow your dreams, you might as well be a vegetable."

A fascinating lunchour or 2 read is this website:
    http://www.indianmotorbikes.com/features/munro/index.htm

Pieced together by a bunch of handwritten letters from ole' Burt himself.

    okay here is one

I know it isn't a motorcycle movie but does anyone remember:

Corky Curtiss With Robert Blake? He drove a 66 cuda with a Superbird wing?

I know showing my age and not motorcycles but still a great late night hot rod/biker movie.
